Directions to James Madison University

From NORTH:
To Sinclair GYM in Godwin Hall:
Take I-81 exit 245. Turn right (West) onto Port Republic Road and turn right, almost immediately, onto the JMU campus (Bluestone Drive). Go approximately 0.5 miles and turn left into the parking lots of GODWIN HALL. Football stadium is right next to Godwin Hall.

PLEASE PARK IN A PARKING SPOT OR YOU CAN BE TOWED AS BUSES NEED TO TRANSPORT AROUND CAMPUS.

Entrance is up the ramp with a purple JMU canopy.

To the UREC:
I-81 exit 245. Turn Left onto Port Republic Rd. At the second stoplight, turn left onto Forest Hill Road. At the first stop sign, turn left onto University Blvd. When you reach the convocation center, there will be a small split (Y) in the road, bear left and there is a small parking lot down the hill. UREC is located behind the convocation center and right next to Interstate 81.

If parking lot is full, you can park in the convocation center parking lots.

To Memorial Gym
From the South...

I-81 North to Exit 245 (Port Republic Road) at top of the exit turn left. Go through 3 stoplights, at 4th light turn RIGHT onto High Street (Rt 42 North) Memorial Hall (Old Harrisonburg High School) will be on your left in the next mile.

From the North...

I-81 South to Exit 245 (Port Republic Road) at top of the exit turn right. Go through 2 stoplights, at 3rd light turn RIGHT onto High Street (Rt 42 North) Memorial Hall (Old Harrisonburg High School) will be on your left in the next mile.

From SOUTH:
To Sinclair GYM in Godwin Hall:
Take I-81 to exit 245. Turn left onto Port Republic Road, cross over I-81 and turn right into the JMU campus.

Go about 1.5 miles, 2 red lights, to 42 and turn right.

Go 2 more red lights and turn Left into the parking lot.

Gym entrance is on the side with the parking lot.
